Who are the Golden Horseshoe Riders?

We are a constellation of the International Star Riders Association who received our Charter February 25, 2009, based in the Golden Horseshoe area of Southern Ontario. The Golden Horseshoe Riders of the ISRA was founded by President Steve MacFarlane and Vice President Mark Wiskin. Our intent is to provide an atmosphere of enjoyable safe riding and camaraderie in a riding club of mainly Yamaha Star based motorcycles.

We are not interested in just selling patches like some other clubs but want people that actually want to come out and ride on our weekly rides, which will be held mainly on weekends Sat or Sun depending on circumstances. We are also open to suggestions from other members on where we are riding and if members are willing to assist, we would more than welcome ideas in planning rides so that it remains an enjoyable experience, rather than just following where the exec says we are going and not having any input.

We understand that some rides will be longer than some members will be able to commit to due to family, work or other commitments and if this is the case, we welcome you to come out, stay as long as you like and then peel off and go about your business as you wish. We just want to have fun and hope you do too.
